What Trey Gowdy Just Did With His New Power Terrified Susan Rice

Congratulations Trey Gowdy, you deserve it. The Daily Caller just confirmed that Representative Trey Gowdy just got a huge promotion.

What’s really interesting is Trey didn’t even really want the job or at least didn’t employ the typical backroom shenanigans common in DC when top jobs become available.

In a sign of how much respect Trey Gowdy has on both sides of the aisle, he was just giving this important job because he is the best qualified to run it.

Now, this is a new thing in Washington. And a sign that some of the swamp is getting drained.

The Republican Steering Committee chose Trey Gowdy Thursday to assume the chairman position of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Trey Gowdy will assume power over the investigation into President Trump firing FBI Director Comey and any more investigations into leakers and Hillary.

Susan Rice, James Comey, Loretta Lynch – you are all officially on notice.

“I am grateful to the Steering Committee and the Conference as a whole for this opportunity to serve,” Trey said, “The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has jurisdiction in a variety of areas as outlined in the Rules of the House for the 115th Congress.”

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is a leader of recommending and enforcing reform initiatives. The intention is to improve government efficiency, transparency, and efficacy.

He said he is looking forward to working with the committee.

Gowdy will be a fantastic committee member because he is very clear about his desire to ensure government obedience to the people, not the other way around.

Trey Gowdy has grilled the best of the liars, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, etc. He won’t hesitate to call out the President for wrongdoing, but he knows what the rest of us already know, Trump is completely clean.

We will see a much more efficient Oversight Committee in July.
