Melania Trump’s predecessor, former First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief usher uhas been dismissed by the current administration. His position was replaced with current First Lady’s best and smartest Timothy Harleth, who is likewise the director of rooms at the Trump Organization’s Washington Hotel.
Reportedly he will begin at his new position at the White House on July 3rd, and he will be managing up to 90 White House staff members.
In a press release, 47-year-old Melania said, “I am so pleased that Timothy will be joining our team. He was selected because of his impressive work history and management skills. My husband and I know he will be successful in this vital role within the White House.”
The new attendant’s appointment was announced just shortly after another announcement had been made that Trump International Hotel will be hosting a well-known supporter, where Harleth used to work.
Harleth said regarding his new position, “I am so honored at the opportunity to serve the First Family in their new home. I look forward to applying my experience with hospitality, leadership, and political protocol in order to ensure the First Family’s needs are met, while also protecting and preserving the rich history of the White House.”
Harleth has more than a dozen years of experience with leadership and hospitality, and the new usher will be supervising butlers, maids, florists, doormen, cooks and others.
His job at the Trump International Hotel in DC at the moment, circles around supervising up to 110 employees, and before he even worked at the Trump Hotel, he had managing positions at the Mandarin Oriental in both DC and New York.
