President Donald Trump has earned himself a couple of enemies, and these people are only trying to ruin his plans. Senator John McCain is one of the President’s “friends,” and we already know the root of his anger. McCain hoped that he will be granted the entrance in the Oval Office, but things didn’t work quite well for him.
The senator thinks that he has every right to make a decision without even consulting the President. McCain isn’t the President of the United States, and he should remember that. But, instead of doing his job, the senator tries to take the President’s position. This time it’s all about Afghanistan.
McCain seems to be forgetting the goodness he has done for USA. He’s been serving the US for so long, and today he is acting like his heroism doesn’t matter. McCain wants a chunky piece of the cake, and he won’t take any less than that. Let’s not forget that he spent years in Vietnam.
But, McCain seems to have replaced his heroism with other “stuff.” McCain joined the bunch of Democrats who blocked the repealing procedure of ObamaCare. This was a direct stab in the back, and the senator actually colluded with Democrats. McCain casted the decisive vote against the President’s repeal suggestion. He was supposed to support President Trump and his effort to create a stronger healthcare system.
However, McCain has other plans. He even said that President Trump can’t handle the Afghanistan problem. According to McCain, the White House failed to create a strategy about the Afghanistan matter. “I urge the President to resolve the differences within his administration as soon as possible and decide on a policy and strategy that can achieve our national security interests in Afghanistan and the region,” the senator said.
Let’s just say that McCain should better focus on repealing ObamaCare. He made a promise, so sticking to it would be a great idea.
What do you think about the comments Senator John McCain made about the President? Do you think President Trump will react now? What’s the best solution to the Afghanistan issue?
