Comey’s Colleague Under Criminal Investigation For Leaking Classified Info, Look Who It Is

Apparently, James A Baker, an FBI General Counsel is under a criminal examination by the Department of Justice for supposedly leaking classified national security information to the media agencies.

A few government officials who knew about the investigation broke the news to Circa on the condition but stayed anonymous.

“Three sources, with knowledge of the investigation, told Circa that Baker is the top suspect in an ongoing leak investigation, but Circa has not been able to confirm the details of what national security information or material was allegedly leaked.”

“A federal law enforcement official with knowledge of ongoing internal investigations in the bureau told Circa, “the bureau is scouring for leakers and there’s been a lot of investigations.”

This massive disclosure comes just few days after reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions would make an announcement in near future about an ongoing criminal leak investigations.

Particularly, Baker is a close friend of now-fired FBI Director James Comey. Baker apparently advised Comey on legal matters after the private meetings he had with President Donald Trump in February.

Comey chose Baker to the FBI’s general counsel three years ago. His FBI bio reads that he got the NSA’s Intelligence Under Law Award among other accolades – highly ironic having in mind his supposed criminal actions.

FBI spokeswoman Carol Cratty would not acknowledge or deny any examination of Baker. It appears that the FBI Deep State just got deeper.
