Trey Gowdy Exposes Why Adam Schiff Is So Terrified Of The FISA Memo Being Released

House Intelligence Committee’s ranking Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff put out a statement about how horrible it would be for the country to release the FISA memo. However, Trey Gowdy exposed the real reason Schiff doesn’t want the memo released.

“I said to my committee colleagues during this hearing, sadly, we can fully expect that the president of the United States will not put the national interest over his own personal interest. But, it is a sad day, indeed, when that is also true of our own committee. Because today, this committee voted to put the president’s personal interest, perhaps their own political interest, above the national interest, in denying themselves even the ability to hear from the department and the FBI,” said Schiff.

Now here’s Gowdy’s take on it. “Look, my Democratic colleagues didn’t want us to find this information. They did everything they could to keep us from finding this information,” said Gowdy.

“I think it will be embarrassing to Adam Schiff once people realize the extent to which he went to keep them from learning any of this. That would be the embarrassment. I mean, going to court to help Fusion GPS so we can’t find out they paid for the dossier, and that they were working for the DNC,” said Gowdy.

“That’s a pretty big step to go to court to try to keep the American people from learning something. So, if it were up to Adam Schiff, you wouldn’t know about Hillary Clinton’s email. You wouldn’t know about the server. You wouldn’t know about the dossier. I do find it ironic that he has his own memo right now because if it were up to him, we wouldn’t know any of it,” said Gowdy.
