Melania Trump didn’t merely opt for flats when she went to Florida to meet with hurricane victims, but she even decided wear sneakers while doing a rapid outfit change on Air Force One.
The amazing 47-year-old, who was called out for being elitist for opting for stilettos when visiting hurricane victims in Houston, seemed to have said her farewell to pumps for her trip to have a tête-à-tête with citizens who have been devastated by Hurricane Irma.
Following having $750 black and beige Chanel flats on her feet while boarding Air Force One with President Donald Trump on Thursday morning, Melania’s outfit altered into a casual button-up shirt, white skinny bottoms, and $50 Converse sneakers. Casual, isn’t it?
Her olive green blouse was put into her jeans, which were sporty alongside her Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers.
Melania covered her eyes from the sunshine with a pair of aviator sunglasses, and she was casual enough to have her hair up in a ponytail tucked into a white baseball cap.
She also chose to leave her black Hermes Birkin behind, which retails at jaw-dropping $11,900 to $12,200, on the aircraft.
The FLOTUS had her photos taken while exiting Air Force One at Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers alongside her spouse, and Trump was wearing casual stuff as well: khaki pants, a windbreaker, and a USA cap to top it all off.
The couple was expected by Florida Governor Rick Scott as they landed, and she was positioned alongside Trump as they carefully watched the governor speaking at the time of a briefing on Hurricane Irma at the airport.
Following the briefing, the president, vice president, and first lady, headed to Naples to meet with residents who have been devastated by Hurricane Irma.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you admire the casualty that is diametrically opposite to the labels of elitism the FLOTUS serves?
